What we know

 

65% of people with OCD develop the disorder before the age of 25

and only 15% develop it after the age of 35.

 

There is a slightly higher incidence of OCD with women but among

children boys outnumber girls 2 to 1.

 

OCD exists to the same extent in every culture and on every

continent.

 

OCD does run in families but genetic factors aren't the only

cause.
