Program Overview Program Overview Program Overview Workshop Flyer

This workshop is sponsored by the Behaviour Science: An Application of Technology (BST / ABA) program at Humber College.

This exciting workshop will take place on November 4th, 2009. Please register early as these workshops are very popular. Funds generated from all workshops go to bursaries for our students!

Please see the PDF overview and program information above to learn about the many benefits of our growing Behaviour Science program at Humber College focusing on Applied Behaviour Analysis and what students, graduates and professionals have to say about it.

Graduates of our unique, part-time program will become Behaviour Technicians, Technologists, Consultants or Therapists, depending upon previous academic background, and will acquire enhanced skills to support individuals with challenging behaviours including: developmental disabilities, dual diagnosis, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and complex needs.

Students will have the opportunity to help individuals with severe behaviours to integrate more effectively into society; to upgrade their skills for their current jobs; and to increase their potential for promotion to supervisory positions.

The curriculum teaches skills with respect to behaviour program development and evaluation, such as observing behaviours, recording data, reporting, implementing behaviour techniques and strategies, and participating as a team member.
