GENETIC STUDY OF OCD
Do you have OCD? Does your family know?

We are currently doing a research study that is looking at possible genetic factors in OCD. We are looking for people with a primary diagnosis of OCD who have family members who are willing to participate. Family members who can participate include: any family members that have experienced OCD symptoms, tics or hair pulling difficulties (including aunts, uncles, and cousins with their consent); one/or both natural parents, regardless of whether or not they have experienced OCD symptoms; one or more siblings, regardless of whether or not they have experienced OCD symptoms.

Your involvement in this study and any information given will be kept confidential to the extent permitted by law. Participants will be offered a modest cash honorarium to compensate for time spent participating in this study. This study is being conducted by Drs. Peggy Richter, Paul Arnold and James Kennedy at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto Ontario, Canada.
